POEM ANALYSIS

FUTURE LOVE
By Ainur Rabiyatul
Then , the red rose was about sincerity,
Now it’s about greed,
It was about love,
Now it’s about desires,
It was about feelings,
Now it’s about the needs.
It used to be,
“How much will you love me?”,
But nowadays,
It’s “how much can you give me?”.
How lovely it was,
Everything so genuine,
Loving right from the heart,
Just craving for one’s love.
